Quack!
This is great weather, if you're a duck. It's been pouring rain for days. We haven't managed to do much in the past week.
I'm still looking for my pots for the front and back doors. I had no idea these would be so difficult to find. Maybe they haven't been around since the 90s? If anyone comes across pots that look like these, however vaguely, please let me know. Preferably in South East Queensland.

I realise that these ones pictured are all a bit special, but it gives you the idea. Bear in mind....like the ginger jars....but pot planters instead. Need four, but would be happy with two.

  1. On the upside what a great start for your lawn, it will be happy! I'll keep my eyes peeled for pots, I know exactly what you're after, as I like them too! :)

  3. I've tried Ebay, both locally and Australia wide searches. I've gone to Sunnybank to check out the Chinese shops. I've looked at every nursery I've been to lately. I have looked at shops like Target and K Mart, plus exotic furniture stores. Next I'm going to try some op shops. I'm sure there was a lot of glazed ceramic patterned pots around ten or fifteen years ago?

  4. Hi Madam Restora, have you tried Graceville Imports for your gorgoeus choice of pots? They are located at Hamilton (go figure!) and have a huge selection of local and imported pots and garden stuff. Although pots like yours are not in their current catalogue (which is available online) I would suggest giving them a call to see if they have anything similar in their massive warehouse - just be aware, for some strange reason they do not appreciate people turning up and browsing, give them a call first. Cheers:>)

  6. One of the 2 Mamas! Love your work! I've never had the warmest reception from the staff at PBF, but I'm willing to give it another go if it means getting my pots!
