That's all we know now.
Apparently, parts of Brisbane City are being evacuated right this minute, and the areas of Caboolture and Strathpine are too. There are 30 Brisbane suburbs said to be in danger of flooding in the next 24 hours.
The water is coming. Our house is dark, even though it's only midday, the sky is rumbling, and the rain has been falling so hard that our downpipe was shaking with the force.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a tad nervous.

ReplyDeleteYes it's a peculiar feeling. My husband's company are all going home now as we speak. I think just to get everyone home and err on the side of caution.
